Writer's Open Mic In-Person
Calling all young writers! Whether you're part of the library’s Writer’s Club or love creating your own poetry, short stories, or music, we’d love for you to share your talents at our Writer’s Open Mic. This event is a safe space for young writers to build confidence reading their work aloud -- supported by family, friends, and our community. Local author and our Writer’s Club leader, Karen Hempson, will be there to support and cheer on our young storytellers.
As a special bonus, participants are invited to display a copy of their work in the Children’s Room throughout November.
