Book Buddies In-Person
This mentorship program pairs kids with teen volunteers to spark a love of books and stories. For kids who aren’t reading yet, our teens will bring their favorite picture books to life in one-on-one read-aloud sessions. Beginning readers will get a boost of confidence as they read aloud with a friendly listener who’s there to cheer them on, help with tricky words, and celebrate every success. It's all about building skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of reading—one page at a time!
For kids in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
