Local Author Talk: Mary Gardner presents Second Looks: Memoir in Essay and Poetry In-Person
Join us for an evening with local author Mary Gardner as she reads selections from her newly published book, Second Looks: Memoir in Essay and Poetry — a richly woven collection of essays and poems drawn from a lifetime of observing nature, family, travel, and the literary world. Books will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefitting the It Takes a Library Capital Campaign for the new Skaneateles Library.
Mary Gardner's award-winning poetry has appeared in anthologies internationally, regionally, and locally. She holds a Certificate in Poetry from the Downtown Writers Center and is a former president of the CNY Branch, National League of American Pen Women. Her three chapbooks were published as a trilogy by FootHills Publishing.
